United Airlines will relaunch flights between Guam and Taipei, Taiwan after an absence of nearly two decades.
First reported by CNA News (Taiwan), United will start the Guam-Taipei route with two weekly flights starting April 2, 2025. Boeing 737-800 will be used on the route.
While charter flights have been operated by the airline, United's Guam-based predecessor – Continental Micronesia – last served the route with regularly scheduled flights in 2005. The route has also been served by EVA Air and China Airlines.
The Guam-Taipei route is the second new service to/from Taiwan announced by United for 2025. The airline previously announced it will launch a new route between Tokyo Narita Airport and Kaoshiung from July 11, 2025.
United currently operates flights from San Francisco to Taipei.
